With an intake form, the key is make it easy. You don’t want to make it complicated.Jessica Chen – How I communicate effectively through my marketing
How do you make an easy by effective sales funnel? 🤔
“In order for me to capture data and get closer to working with visitors to my website, I have an easy intake form on there.
The reason it is easy is because I make my intake form into a quiz. Therefore, it’s fun and short for the person filling it in.
Anybody could go on to your website and see a little quiz that essentially encourages people to discover something about themselves.
The second part of my quiz goes to where you can talk about the details of the quiz with me.
So once people find their communication styles on my quiz, they go into a funnel of sorts where I actually give people specific advice depending on their answers, so it’s very curated.
Your quiz should be value driven to them.” ⬅️
Tailor your message to what people are seeing and what’s relevant to them.Jessica Chen – How I communicate effectively through my marketing
How do you create visibility for yourself?
“I’m very fortunate because I get most of my speaking engagements purely just through marketing.
When I say marketing, it’s more about just posting content, talking about what you know, and constantly sharing your advice, giving free advice to people.
Once people see that, you get a reputation for looking like you know what you are talking about. That’s when you get more visibility. ⬅️
Then if somebody finds you organically, they already like you and want you vs. trying to pitch yourself to someone.
For me, LinkedIn has been my platform of choice, but that’s strategic because I’m trying to talk to business-minded folks. So I feel overall, it’s helped a lot.
I’m a LinkedIn learning instructor, too so that also helps create a lot of visibility.“
