Manage your thinking
As a training provider, you need the kind of mindset which helps you deal with adversity.
Can you cope with cancellations, rescheduling, program redesign and all the other stresses that come with running your own learning & development business?
Your brain may ‘think’ that situations like delivering a presentation or leading a workshop or designing a training program are risks.
People may not like your training and they might question your authority or your qualifications,
Worst case, they might heckle you, they may even give you poor feedback.
So, how do you deal with all these negative thoughts?
One of the best books I have read on the subject of mindset is called The Chimp Paradox – The Mind Management Programme for Confidence, Success and Happiness.
I recommend it to many of my coaching clients, one of whom told me that it has literally changed his life!
